I'm kind of leaning towards futaba's 401, but what servo should then i use with it.
My other selection is a bit cheaper, but not as famous align's RCE-500X Gyro.
What are the differences, which one would you buy?
I'm flying Shogun V2.

I would consider the logictech 2100....I heard it was AS good as the 401, but I haven't personally flown it. Apparently it supports digital and analog servos which is a really nice feature.
available at heliproz for a good price $104 and they give free shipping w/orders over $100!

I'm using Futaba 401 (expensive) and HDS 577 digital of helidirect (cheap).
HDS 477 is not recommended.
There's nothing like the real thing.

Thanks for replying. I was checking out the site, and i would still gor for 401, as i heard that investing in a gyro is a good thing.
If someone has personal experience on logictech 2100 i would consider it as an option. But still, nobody got experience on Align's gyro?

I ordered the 2100 on friday so I should have it today. I don't have a digital servo, but I can compare it to my GY240 I'll let you know what I think!
The align isn't that great....it doesn't hold a candle to my GY240

Well, i got carried away today, and bought 401 at the spot... together with futaba s3110. I hope i can get the thing working by wednesday.
My friend once told me, you try many things, and end up with gy401, i hope he is right.
darkside212, do tell about the test.

I tryed my GY401 today.. you don't know how easy it is to fly with a HH gyro till you try it. All working, had some problems with 5 channel but it got sorted out eventually.
Have some unknown vibes in the rotor head though, never in a state of "nothing to do" on these cheap helos :D

I got the Logictech 2100T and the HDS577 servo:
the gyro is about 40% the size of the GY240!
I have it all setup as far as: servo type, tx type, and set the gain to about 70%
I am waiting to install it in a heli. I plan on getting the cyclone 450 VERY soon and I think I am going to put it in that instead of my cyclone 400.

I also ordered the Logictech 2100. I hope it's going to live up to the hype that's been spreading about it. Soon, we shall see.
I wanted a gy401 originally but couldn't come up with one at the "right" price. The only good thing is, if I do feel the 2100 is lacking somewhat, I have a different bird to use it on that, ANYTHING, would be an improvment... :)
