I went to my LHS yesterday and they had a new kiosk with FS One. Alas, some squatter park himself on it and would not let anyone else try it. I suggested to the clerk that they might wish to put a 5 minute placard up but, that went nowhere.

Had I enough time I would have gone over and grabbed the mouse to load a heli model right as the clown was flying. He might have gotten a clue. I had to leave so, I left it alone. Bottom line, I did not get a chance to try it yesterday.

Interesting that you mention this...

My local hobby shop had the same problem so the owner contracted me to write a piece of software to set a timer on their kiosk to limit "time play". I also added a feature that allowed the employees to "hot key" between the "Realflight" and "RealRace"(car version) simulators. It worked very well and eliminated the problem of people hogging the sim kiosk and reducing sales. When the allocated time was over, I locked the terminal and displayed a user configurable splash page onto the screen to advertise Realflight and RealRace.
