Yeeeeeeeeeeee Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! I flew my new Kasama Raptor for the first time last night.

Unbelievable build quality. Stable yet responsive. Confidence Inspiring. Precise. In a word – Extraordinary!

The craftsmanship of this head is outstanding. Each component is a fine piece of art, but more importantly, the components work together with such precision that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. The build quality and fit of the components is rock solid and completely slop free. This is the result of sound engineering and faultless implementation. Kasama sweats the details!

I didn’t know what to expect from my first flight. I am a beginner pilot – no 3D in my portfolio. But even I could tell from the moment I lifted off into a hover and then commanded it into forward flight – something was different. Something was wonderfully, sweetly different. My words can not do it justice, and I still can not exactly place my finger on it, but the bottom line is that it flies with a solid precision that I didn’t even know was missing before. The helicopter now behaves as an extension of my control inputs. Whatever I command, the heli does it seemingly instantaneously and with a fluidity that was never present before. I am so impressed.

I promised myself that I would go easy on this first flight since I have flying lessons this weekend. But this Kasama head instills such confidence that I had to push it. What a rush! I have heard pilots describe a heli as turning like it’s on rails. I can relate to that with a performance sports car in which you are part of the equation. But I didn’t see how that could apply to an RC helicopter. Now I know. This head has transformed my heli into a performance machine. It absolutely does carve through turns like it’s on rails!

Flying the Raptor with a Kasama head was like stepping out of my Toyota Celica and into my Acura RSX. The step up in refinement, precision, and performance is outstanding!

Like I said, it now flies with a solid precision that I didn’t know was missing before. Awesome job guys! I can’t wait to put more and more hours on this bird!

I am impressed!
