charging in secure box

question for you Lipo gurus - I have been charing my lipos. just out in the open on a table, but have read that some people charge in a secure fire type box,
What are most doing and what is best suggestion - just curious as to what you are doing,

I do it on the table or on the concrete ground if I have some, I want to be able to see and keep and eye on what is going on with the packs nad chargers.

I use a pyrex casserole dish on the table. You can also use an ammo box, a metal cashbox, a terracotta planter, basically anything that can withstand 1200C for a short time. You can also make a "liposack" from a kitchen fire blanket.

Note that even though using a fireproof container should prevent a fire indoors, a burning lipo creates a lot of bad smelling smoke. Charging somewhere outside the house is a good idea if you can manage it.
