I think the 7cap is a swell transmitter for a heli. The 127DF receivers are FM, and aren't exactly micro. The 7cap will work with FM or PCM. I believe the 7cap has all the same functionality as the 7chp. I think only the defaults differ, and it has a ratcheting throttle stick (which is easily fixed). If you know the TX and both RX's are in good shape, and you know you want the 127DF RX, and you know the guy is on the level, $120 seems like a good price.

Incidentally, I did fly my T-Rex with a 127DF (without a case) for a while. It does work fine.

I've only used the 7chp. But I think the 7cap will do everything the 7chp does from what I understand. Just remove the ratchet on the left stick, and set the parameters as desired.

As Rick said above. The 7CA and 7CH are basically the same radio. The software is exactly the same in both.

The A version has a ratchet on the throttle. The H version throttle is smooth. Easy to change the A version to smooth throttle.

The A version defaults to Airplane models. The H version defaults to helicopter models.

Not sure on this one, but the A version, a couple of switches may be different than the H version. All this would consist of would be two switches. These would be on the top left and top right corner. The difference being a two position and three position switch.

All the switches on the top are backwards but its no big deal.

On the H version the spring loaded long switch is on the right with a short 2 postion switch.

The long regular switch is on the left with the 3 position idle up switch.

On the A version the spring loaded switch is on the left with a short two position switch and the long switch and idle up 3 postion are on the right.
