Okay. Means time to figure out how to mod the align starter to have one.
I have a wand from a hobbico starter that had a one way, but man I hated how it popped out of the rubber cone thingy.
Align starter has a one way I think

You guys have done well on this machine, i was heading T700 but im going to hold off now i think. Is there an estimated price on this or am i jumping the gun here. YS is my motor of choice and its great to see it slides in there all snug.
Someone asked what the weight is, is it lighter than the T700? :dontknow
Cant wait!! :banana

Does this mean we need a one way bearing on our starter shafts?
No. You never really need a one-way bearing. You can easely start without it. It's just more comfortable with it but also means troubles from time to time when the one-way bearings is dying.

Nice! I'm glad to see a one-piece tail pitch bell crank. That would be a nice upgrade for the 550.

Fella's,
I posted a few features on the first post for you to look over... There are many more features than listed but it boggles my mind to think that much...

• Ball raced spindle driver for precision flap control
What does this mean ?? No dampers?

No it still has dampers the Spindle driver basics is it allows the spindle shaft to only teeter/ flap within 1 axis up/down
Unlike Velocity 50 that does not. Its spindle can flap or teeter up/down, left right basically all directions.

So the spindle is basically like a seesaw, with a laterally drilled hole?

from what I understand; it will still allow the dampers to work up and down on the Z axis, but not allow the spindle to rotate as it might with the grips otherwise or to move along the X axis. This should allow more precise "feeling" of the head in flight, and longer damper life. I'm no engineer though, and this is just my 2 cents which can be, and often is, wrong. Just ask the spousal unit!!! :YeaBaby:

I propose Pete, aka Slyster, be the colour scheme designer for the new Velocity 90.

Charley,
Is there a FBL head in the works with this feature? Any plans to release the heli with the FBL head as a standard option?
Thanks

There will be a Fbless head in the future. After reading the preliminary manual, I am very excited to get this heli flying.
