Hey Guys,

HAving an issue with my Blade Cp--regular not pro---I have a cnc bell hiller micro heli head on it, hardened main shaft, auto rotation hub and hdx300 main gear, twin tail motor set up, and flat bottom woodies. Recently the thing went damn crazy on me---I bring it up to hover about 16-20 inches off the deck maybe a little higher and it starts violently shaking, wobbling pitching forward and back side to side--every direction the entire time the tail rotor is pulsing ---- the only thing done recently to it is I added an extra o-ring to my spindle to help the blades from flexing up and down and touching my tail rotor, I wouldnt think this would do it---but I am asking the heli gods out there for some trouble shooting help! It was hovering fine before this now shes a handful till i get her back on the deck!!

Thanks!!!!

When you added the extra o-ring you tightened up the damping. Tighter damping requires more headspeed or it will wobble. Lower pitch at midstick one turn, or remove the extra o-ring.

Check your swashplate too, make sure it isn't coming apart.

Had a very similar Problem with my CP using the OLD 2BB Grips. Weird thing about it was the shake would develop into the flight 20-30 Secs with minimal Collective change( I guess sticky grips was to blame) Contacted Horizon and they sent me new 3BB grips and that was the end of my random shake. just tossing out some ideas if you ha vent come across your problem yet. Althogh i never used the cnc head.

yah if you have the bell hiller upgrade head you either need to put in a third bearing in each grip or use some aluminum collars in place of the 3rd bearing to make up the gap , the feathering shaft is too long with the new grips
