Anyone care to share their O550 Vbar file?

I recently sold my Trex 250 ESP, Trex 450 LE V2, and my Trex 450 Pro and just bought an Outrage 550! I've been Trex exclusive for a year and a half now so looking forward to flying a new brand.

It will have a Scorpion HK4020-1390kv, 11 tooth, Align DS650 tail servo, and INO LABS D760mg cyclic servos. I have a Vbar unit and the Outrage FBL head coming and plan to go straight to FBL on this one. Should I run 100% flat throttle with that motor pinion combo? I plan to tach it at 100% and as long as its under 2300, just go with it. If its over 2300, I'll govern it to 2200 with an Ice 100.

Would anyone care to share their O500 Vbar file and setup with me to give me a good starting point as well as any FBL tips you have for the O550, since the Vbar software does not have a O550 setup file?

Mine are both vbarred and fly like a dream :shock: ! Here is my latest file.. version 12... so you can see I've done a LOT of tweaking... should save you a lot of time.

I run gov mode at 2200, 2300, and 2400 with 12T/Neu motor and ICE100.

Vbar has the sensor on top in front of the shaft with the cables coming out forwards.

Mini-v is up top near the shaft too with cables coming out forwards.

Both mini-v and vbar versions fly exactly the same.. I can't tell the difference.

Thx Sly. I found a couple of versions of your vbr file but wasn't sure what the latest was. Thanks for the link to your thread too! It's been a long time since I've flown something that wasn't Trex XXX.

Hey.. you need to move the balls in on the cyclics too.

The ball to ball distance on my cyclic wheels is 23mm.

Full size Vbar is on the way w/ a candy bar I hope. 23mm on the cyclic servo's, got it, thx!

Which FBL head do you use? I have the Outrage conversion coming.
