I am looking at getting a swift as my first heli (I have been practicing with Realflight G3) but am now ready to buy my first helicopter.

How do I decide which motor to use, and which charger and balancer to get?

I think I will make some emoli battery packs as it seems to be cost effictive for a beginner.

Eventually, after I get good i might want some Lipo's, how do I select a charger that I can grow with? any suggestions welcome.

Also, I might want to put a camera on some day, so I guess I would rather buy a better motor now instead of upgrading later, does that make sense?

Thanks

IF your going emoli route, then you will want to make the batts 7s to get decent flight times and performance. With that said, then you will need a HV esc, something that can handle above 6s battery voltage. The Century motors are good for the money, but they can only handle 6s batteries. So one of the Steve NEU motors would be good, maybe a 1910 series. For a charger I am using a Astro 109 works well for me. Lots of people love the Thunder power charger and balancer combo pack. Get the balancer that can do up to 10s though.
