Please post when you determine the problem. I have had my G3 only a couple months, but if this happens to mine, need to know why and maybe come up with a good fix.
Which stick broke?
Thanx

This happened to me two weeks ago, the pins that hold the tensioner look to be molded into the gimbal frame. I used a precision drill from the opposite side and replaced the pin with a piece of a cheap precision screw driver that I cut off with dremel. This seems to be working out well. I did email tech support and have not recieved a reply.

are you referring to the tensioner that makes the collective/throttle click? or something else?

My turned loose today, contacted support via phone & they have one coming ASAP, all I have to do is return the def. controller for new one when it arrives.
Great support on RF products, very impressed. Lost tension on Right stick on Elevator. Still works bit touchy.
If put of warranty, you might could use a Roll Pin, it expands tighter and would secure.

I guess it is more of an armature that the spring pulls down on.

the pin broke on my interlink to. Seems like this problem appears more often on the retail 3.5 package. Where do I send the controller? Great Planes? I live in Norway, but bought the Realflight in Boston.

I talked to an Realflight employe now, and his going to send me a new interlink controller all the way to Norway. VERY good service. I feel a bit sorry for them. Imagine the costs they get when they have to ship hundreds of new Interlink controllers around the world.
You need to tell them your real serial number, so those of you that got the cracked version...don't even bother try getting a controller for free with fake serial. :tongue

People are using other options for controllers such as old G2 controllers and what not.

heh.....i dont even bother with the G3 controller anymore.
i use my real TX through it .
noticed the real TX is more precise feel to it.
controls are much better.
might be the way to go when that pin breaks.

I did that while the pin was broken, but the channel mapping was fun to figure out with my 9C. Eventually got it, but I could not auto.
Also things seemed SLOWER with the 9C, and I had to do alot of editing to get things back up to speed.

Their customer service is great AS LONG AS YOUR CONTROLLER IS LESS THAN 3 MOTNHS OLD. The first time minebroke, they sent me a new one and I didn't even have to send my old one is because it was too much toruble since I live in Canada.
It broke again and mine was 3 months 1 week old so they don't warrarnty it. They wanted me to ship it to them with 50 bux for a new one. I just fixed it myself.

Who did you guys talk to in tech support. My controller is less then a month old and broke off the pin. I called tech support and asked about the turn around time. 1 and 1/2 weeks. Asked them to send a new one and I would send the old one back. No way.
The tech admitted that they have had a run of bad interlinks but if you want it fixed, you have to play the waiting game.
