Eagle Tree Data Recorder
Has anyone used Eagle Tree Data Recorder with the E-Logger, Motor Temp sensor, and Optical RPM sensor?
where and how did you connect the optical RPM sensor?
I just received the box and plan on installing this week,
MicroPower E-Logger with USB and software
2 Motor Temp, 1 Motor and 1 for the Battery
1 Optical RPM
Power Panel LCD Display Expander

I think you will find that Simon over here has fitted one and is `playing around` with the kit.

Mine is still in the packaging waiting for the rest of the heli to be completed.
BTW you wont be able to use both your temp sensors and the RPM sensor at the same time.Only a combo of two.
It does look a nice add on though.

Simon tied his RPM sensor to the new bearing blocks that are out. I'm going to have to possibly drill a small hole in mine as I still have the stock plastic ones. It's a great piece of kit. It should teach me plenty too :D
Malc's right about the temp sensor...only one can be used if you're using the RPM sensor :)

optical sensor didn't work on mine...was ok indoors, but the sunlight affected it and I got no readings. had to go to the magnetic type and now she works great!
drilled a small hole in the tail drive gear hub to fit the magnet and the sensor is mounted on a cf mount on the side of the frame.
