I purchased a Titan on e-bay from someone who said they were getting out of Heli's (I believe him b/c he also included tools when he shipped it that he wouldn't use for his plane). He said he had been flying fixed wing for several years & had always wanted a heli & that's how he got this one. After two gallon of fuel he decided to part ways with the heli. He said it had never been crashed or had any hard landings (I think they all say that).

But anyway on to my question... I haven't received it yet but it should be here in a day or so. I was wanting to get a kit so I would have some idea of how to put it back together after I crash it. But I felt like this was a better deal b/c it came with a 401/9254 & Hyper engine. This is my first heli so I know nothing about them (other then what I have learned from this site). So, should I take it apart & rebuild it or just fly it?

Thanks for your input!

I would take it apart, if nothing else, you get pretty familiar with it just by tearing it down and putting it back together. First time I looked at a heli, it was daunting. Put one together, it all made sense. raptortechnique.com is excellent for Raptor build help.

That’s what I was thinking as well. I just installed G3 yesterday so I can be giving it a try during the rebuild.
