Chris, is there a specific reason why you sell the 645 carb on your site rather than the 643 as supplied on the 231 and 26?

I'm trying to resolve some in-flight problems i have with any carb fitted with a primer bulb (i've tried 643, 644 and 603)

I have a theory that it's to do with the position of the fuel regulator diaphram's atmosphere vent hole (not the air purge vent). I got this idea by looking at what the plank fliers have been doing to solve a similar problem.

The vent hole on the 645 is in a different position which might help it run a lot better.
I'm wondering if you sell the 645 because you've come to the same concusion.

We sell the 645 carb because we buy a large amount of the airplane engines to convert into our Industrial Twin engines.

The airplane version comes with this carb, which we then do not use on the Twin. So I have LOTS of spares......

I guess I haven't been paying attention, what problem are you having?

Chris, How much are you selling the 645's for by the way ? I'm sure if you had a "sale" on these carbs you might be able to unload a few.
