I currently have a pretty much new raptor. Like maybe a gallon through it. When my engine is idleing, the tail and main blade spins a little bit. My tail everyonce in a while stops and clicks, and the it does it again. Is the belt hitting itself inside the boom? Or what is my problem. Also What Engine is a good motor for this heli in the .30 form and if I got a .50 conversion kit what motor/pipe combo is a good average setup? My engine is a pain to tune. The needle keeps on moveing and my pipe is leaky so I would like to just get a new setup so while Im taking the motor apart to check the bearings I will just upgrade the heli. Does anyone know were to the eCCPM Carbon Fiber conversion kit for my heli? Thankx, Nick P.S. I would probably like a OS engine.

Hey Speed.
Sounds Normal.
If it is what I am thinking it is just the clutch starting to catch, and then releasing.
It does this because when the engine is at idle the rpms are not high enough to fully engage the clutch. My old 30 did the same thing.
As for engines I really liked the os 37 with the Hatori pipe.
Good power, and I hardly ever messed with the settings.
I would say at this point no need to up grade to a 50 just fix the leaky pipe, and get some help with the engine tune and fly.

Do yourself a favor and split the tail case and make sure the pin that holds the red gear in place on the tail rotor shaft isn't sticking out and rubbing the case, that will cause the symptoms you decribe.
