View Full Version : Pissed off with Piccolo, Want Shogun / Zoom

I am thinking about getting a Shogun. I have a Hacker B20-31 motor, Phoenix 10 ESC, 3 cell li-po, Berg 5ch rx, 3 HS-50 servos, and a GY240 gyro.
What else will I need? Is the Hacker motor I have OK? How is the stock motor? Any other info or advice?

tabbytabb is also a Shogun guru, he can help as well. If you want to go AXI, I think Mac Hodges has the AXI motors and 18T pinions in stock now. :)
I have one on the way from him. :)

Steve, you can use the 240, one hs-50, lipo depends on size and discharge capability, berg 5 will work great, and I am running a phoenix 10 on mine without problem.
Stock motor is Ok for sport flying but brushless really helps when trying to 3d the little guy, I think you will find that hacker is a bit small for the shogun, the long can hacker seems to be prefered or the himax is another great, cheap alternative
