Folks,

Is a bit of a rattle from the tail control rod normal on a Stratus - or any other MA machine for that matter (as I've heard similar rattles from Fury Experts)?

My heli is running quite smoothly now with the YS91. Theres still a bit of movement in the vertical stabilizer (at 1850rpm), but the fuel tank is pretty calm.

I'm also pretty confident that the tail rod guide is in the correct position by the way.

Is this anything to worry about?

You do have the teflon sleeves on the pushrod?

Yes Sir. One of the clear teflon tubes heat shrinked onto the pushrod with the guide centred on the middle of the tube [14 1/2" from the back of the pushrod].

You can add a Fury style midpoint rod support also.
I had one guide to wear out, replaced it and no more buzz. However I have a spare mount from an Extreme to add a second support at the first sign of it returning.

I use 2 guides also on my booms. I put one about 1/3 of the length and then another at the 2/3 point. So only about 10 inches are less between each guide.
