Im having some troubles getting my 611 to go into heading hold mode. Ive set up my 12z to have the gyro on switch F. All the way back is 50% avcs, forward 50% normal. Changing those percent values does nothing. Mode: Gy, ACT in Rate 1 and 2. Gyro is on Channel 3 with Null for control and trim. I turn on the 611 and its 100N 5.0 volts. Its set in CMT, I flip the switch back and forth 3 times and get nothing. Set the mode on the gyro to Avcs instead of Cmt and still it will not go into Avcs. Ive double checked all connections, all seems to be well. Im using an Arizona regulator. Anyone have any ideas? This is the last thing ive got to setup, and it should be the easiest of all, yet its giving me the most trouble. Ive set up 2, 401's with the 12z with no issues. What am I doing wrong?
