Not able to multiplay

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
I tried to hook up my F9CAPS to G3 but it doesn't sees it.
When I try to enter the multiplayer mode it gives me a message saying something like "no controller detected"
Any ideas???
Also I'd like to ask if should I remove the freq module from the Tx when I use it with the sim (I heard that somewhere) What about the antena? only one section up would do???

transmitter has to be in PPM (FM) mode. Power on, module can be out.
Batteries must be charged BTW.

I had to set my 7C for airplane mode, so I just created a G3 model on the Tx.
