something bigger...

I'm looking for suggestions for a heli that would be like my trex450se or a lepton as far as capability but bigger. Although I'd like to stay smaller than the trex 600/eraptor 620se. The only thing I've seen is the eco 8 but that bird is UGLY.

Hirobo Lepton is between a Trex 450 and 600. If you already have a Lepton, get the 600. You wont be sorry!

The Swift is a little smaller that the 600 and so is the Logo 10. I made the move from my 450 to a Swift and I love it. Parts are very affordable too.

Don't really care for the swift... the Logo 10 does look like a nice bird. Anyone know if a hirobo canopy will fit on it :-). There's a guy selling a really nice logo 10 on rcgroups but I don't have $1200 laying around :arggg: That MA Razor is one wildly designed bird and expensive to boot. Just look at those angled swash servos!? :shock: I wanted a lepton until I saw how expensive they are (for no aparrent reason) and it doesn't seem all that much bigger than my trex450se. I think I want something that uses at the largest 500mm blades. Ideally I'd like to find something that is a bit bigger than the lepton that will run great off 5s lipos for even hard 3d performance so I wouldn't have to get a new balancer as I have a 205V and intend on getting a TP 1010C one of these days anyway.

Ok... pulled out my tape measure and I think I might want a lepton. I also just saw a picture of a logo 10 next to a rappie 60 and that sucker is big. Does anyone have a picture of a trex450, a lepton and maybe some sort of 50/60 size for a size comparison?

I've been wanting something a little bigger than my 450 also lately. Supposedly Align is making a T-rex 500 (.30 size) and a T-rex 700 (.90 size) for next year. I would love something around .30 size and have been looking at the Swift or Logo 10 (the Lepton looks awesome, but expensive), but I might hold off a while now as I have a feeling both of these new rexs will be really popular.

I saw that ep-8 on heli direct. It just doesn't look quality. I'm really hoping the price on lepton parts comes down otherwise I might wait for the trex 500 or something else. I'd love to have a lepton I think but I don't want to pay those kind of repair bills.

Well I bit the bullet this weekend and picked up a Swift. I think the size is perfect for me. Looks like my month-old 450SA is going up for sale :lol:

Does anyone know how a voyager E compares to a lepton in size? It seems that almost no one has a L-EX in my area but there are a few voyager E's. I'm also wondering if anyone could provide input on squirrliness in flight between the trex450/L-EX and 600 size electrics. My friend keeps telling me to get an eRaptor 620se but I think I still want to stay a little smaller mainly because I want to avoid those huge and expensive 10S packs. I want to go bigger so it is easier to see and to get rid of some of the squirrliness in the flight characteristics.

I just added the Logo 14 to the line up and a painted canopy for my 600.

Too bad the Logo has to get shipped to Will but I will have mine VERY soon.
