Its time to buy some more lipos. I am interested in opinions on Tanic and TP lipos. Likes, dislikes. I currently run TP 5s4p 8000 mah which have served me well. I have to outfit my 3rd Maxi and will be buying 3-5 sets. Interested in your opinions before I shell out some big $$

I've flown them both and I prefer FlightPower. They are both good but I feel the FP's have a slight edge over them... especially the "New Forumulation" packs. I also prefer how well built the FP packs are. and now that FP's come with TP balancer plugs it makes it easy for those who have 1010/210V combo's to convert.
I had two New Formulation FP 5s6600's in my Joker and I loaded it down and flew it at 15lb gross weight. The packs never got warm let alone hot.

Good to know, I never considered flight power I will take a look at their website. What kind of air time were you getting on them?

I was drawing about 390mah/min on the Joker at 12lb. With my FP 6600's that gave me about 11 minutes of safe flight with reserve. You can go larger like 7400's and get 13 minutes at the expense of weight and a bit more $$.

I've been running the FlightPower Evo 20's on my Raptor. I'm using a 6S1P 5000 in series with a 5S1P 5000 for an 11S setup. My Raptor is 14lbs and I'm pulling right at 20 amps in hover, which is about 840 watts. I can fly for 10 minutes showing I pull 3100 maH. My TP1010 will put back about 3400 maH.
This is with a Hacker A50-16S motor spinning FunKey 660's.
