hi:

Due to the head blade grip to blade grip size its recommended the 690.
This size its bigger in the Stinegr 90 than many other models and with 680-690 the overall rotor diameter will be similar. If you use bigger blades you risk to "boom strike".

regards,

enjoy your Stinger!!!

I have flown both the 710 and 690 blades on my Stinger 90.
The 710's do auto great and are better for big smooth aerobatics but you will want to run a different gear ratio and a lower headspeed to prevent bogging the engine.
The 690 are much better for 3D type flying.

thanks flyinfool for the info, i'm not much for 3D but would like to know what gear ratio to use and headspeed for the 710 blades.

I did not have the 710's long enough to fully optimize them  but I was getting my best result with the 11/93 (8.455) gears at 1750-1800 rpm. With this setup it is smooth powerful and precise but the cyclic with 710's is a little slow for 3D.
I never tried it but you might even want to consider trying the 11/95 (8.64).
