I put this up on another forum but it should be read by anyone using a Spectrum DX-6 system. I still believe in the Spectrum system and my DX-7 is on pre-order. This is just to let folks know it can happen.

The DX6 is sold as a Park Flier radio. Few, if any, people would call an eRaptor a Park Flier. If you are going to use a product in a way for which it is not designed or tested, you have no complaint if it does not work.

I recommend he get a DX7 (when they ship) or, some other radio system.

Also, there are a number of possible reasons for his failure not related to the Spektrum system.

jrohland,

looks like you did not read the thread. that's ok, I do that too sometimes. sorta makes you look like an *ss when you respond though.. :D

I know all about taking responsibility for my actions the point here is not to blame, it is for everyones information just in case they are doing what I did.

I am not complaining, just sharing my experience for all to learn from my mistakes.

I know several pilots that are flying models with the DX6. They are all not catergorized as Park fliers. As with any electronic device things happen. The SS stuff is not bullet proof yet. I hope no one gets comfortable and thinks it is.
