I was wondering if anyone else has this movement on there 700 I have about 5 tanks through my new 700 LE just Hovering it has never been flown yet. I was just noticing if I hold the heli and move the head side to side I feel a little play in the top main shaft bearing I cant see how the bearing could be bad with 25 min of hovering. It might Of always been there I just never noticed it before.
Any advice would be great
Thanks:thumbup:

I just pulled the head and checked both main shaft bearings they both are very smooth and both have the same amount of play just the slightest amount I guess it was always that way:shock:

I just checked my LE and don't have any movement. You might have just received a loose set of bearings from the factory.

I have seen this on one or 2. They actually needed to replace the shim on the head holding the main shaft in place. After about 4-5 flights they either became compressed or settled in a little bit from installation and went to the next thicker shim and all was well.
Just a suggestion.

No its not up and down play from the shim its sideways movement in the mainshaft bearing itself if you hold the fram tight and push the head back and fourth you feel a slight bit of play :arggg: Im putting a new set of bearings in it just to see the difference:dontknow
No sideplay at all here on my 700N-LE

Align bearings suck, replace them with some high quality bearings and you will be problem free until you crash.:smokin:
