Scorpion motor

Hi, looking at putting a new motor on my e620 but not sure which scorpion to buy. I am running 10 cell (2x5s/5000) now. 4025 740kv? or should I go with a different kv and pinion? Please help with any info, Thanks!!

isn't 10s 5000mah a little heavy and too nose heavy?

Get the 740kv+10T if you want to run a headspeed of 2250rpm or more. Not that you can't use the 9t, but I was wearing out main gear fast(30-40flights) with the 9t and the 740kv. It was fine with 10T. I am not the only one with this problem.

Get the 630kv if you plan to keep the headspeed lower.

yes stick with the 740 and a 10t pinion, the 630 is what I run on 15s A123, you will not like it on 10s lipo, you would need 12s lipo for the 630.
with 5000mah lipo you must get 10+ minute flights!!! I was running 3700mah 10s and getting about 7 minutes.

Thanks for the info guys. I think I will go with the 740kv and up my pinion to 10t. I can get 12-14 min in normal mode(very light flying) 8 min in idle 2. Yes it is a little nose heavy but I like the long flight time!
