Just find some crazy dude with a 10K CNC machine in his basement. Then you buy him a few Vodka and Red Bulls and... BAM! He makes you a custom sign.

Thanks man!

Have driving directions been posted yet? I scanned the thread and didn't see any. That arial photo is great for guys who will be flying in. :-)

Just need to know how to get there once we get into Statesboro. We'll be coming from Tallahassee.

Thanks,
John

The direction link is above the Map. Like I said I know this is close to Clints house (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=Key+Akins+Rd+%26+Old+Riggs+Mill+Rd,+Statesboro,+ GA+30458&ie=UTF8&z=15&ll=32.411886,-81.87398&spn=0.018405,0.053988&t=h&om=1)

Here are some driving directions posted last year by Clint:

From my house we will go right on Old Riggs Mill Rd. to Cypresss Lake Rd. ( Approx. 2 miles ) we will turn left @ stop sign onto Cypress Lake Rd. and travel to next Stop Sign which will be the By-Pass. At the By-pass we will turn left and travel to the end of the road where we will turn left and travel North on Hwy 25 .

Turn North (left on Hwy 25) and it is approx. 12.5 miles to Womack East.

Coming from Statesboro you ill take a right onto Womack East and travel 2 miles and turn Right into Rays field.

From I-16:
Head North from I-16 and 301 ( Exit 116 towards Statesboro )
It is aproximatley 10 miles to the By-pass where you will turn left (@ Texaco ) and go to the end which is aproximatley 7 miles. From here pick up the above directions.

These are the Directions from my house to Ray's field. If you need to get to my house from I-16 just follow to the by-pass and turn left and the first intersection turn left and that will be Cypress lake rd. then cont. on to Old Riggs Mill Road which will be on the right maybe 5 miles. Once on Old Riggs Mill it is about 2 miles on the left. 2014 on the mailbox.

Coming from Agusta you take 25 from Augusta and stay on 25 thru Jenkins County . Look for the Bulloch County line and once you are there it is between 1/2 and 1 mile on the left to Womack East where you take a right to go to the field. It is 2 miles on the right.

Clint,... if these have been changed, let us know.

Ray's field:
N 32* 37.0421'
w 81* 52.7182'
This will get you within 500 yds.
I don't see the lake at the field with these coordinates on GoogleEarth !!

COOL.

For those not going to Clintstones house and just going to the "Event" at Rays field. This is pretty close to Rays field (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&ie=UTF8&om=1&z=16&ll=32.61196,-81.867478&spn=0.013375,0.020556&t=h) Combine this with the above instructions and you should see helicopter flying!

We fly everywhere! Juliestone is pretty cool about too. Last time I finished busting off a flight at like 7AM I walked inside the house and saw her up. I said something like, "Oh sorry if I woke you up". She laughed and said, "I do not even hear helicopters anymore"

Helifreak Love

Flying does happen at both places. It is usually at the house for the early birds. Also, in the late nights, since people will either be sleeping in the yard in campers or tents, or in the house on floor, couch, air mattresses, or beds, or town, sometimes the night flying is at the house. I remember people flying at 3AM plenty of times.

Can't wait for everyone to get here.

Martha,
I will take clean sheets and towels in my accomodations. Also a vase of fresh cut flowers would be a nice touch also.

I am looking forward to the Birthday Bash also.
