Which servos are people using on the Leptons? 9650? 9254?
I have seen posts for both of these. Will the 9650 handle most 3D? Does the 9254 change your CG?
I have an 401 and 9650 from my spare T-Rex 450. I'll buy the 9254 if it is clearly better than the 9650.
Thanks!

I have run both and will say for sure the 9254 holds better. No problems at all!

I started with the 9650 which at that time was the servo of choice.
I then learned that the 9254 would fit quite nicely without having to cut away anything.
I had one lying around and all I can say... well I could have saved some bucks :?
I will never look back.

9253 will work as that was the servo that came with a 401 up until about a year or so ago when they updated the combo with the newer 9254.

Thanks Bob, but would it hold as good as the 9254?
I guess I should fly it and find out...LOL

Yea it should as it did for me on my 50 sized nitros. Actually i do not even know what the difference is between the 9253 and newer 9254?

it is faster and has more torque than 9253 but i've heard people complaining that the gears go bad fairly quick.too much power and speed for plastic gears?have you had any such problems?
thx. andrei
