Will these fit our leptons?

I think they will be too long. The 68mm are cutting it close.

They are too long. The max size tail you can run is the 68mm with the 425mm mains.

Ive been running these for the past two days. Im not happy with the results. I get a HUGE buzz in backwards flight(not that my backwards flight is great). Going back to my cut down blades. :D Had to try them though.

Jeff

The Lepton is my favorite heli right now...plug the battery in and go play, no fiddling a round at all I LOVE IT!!!! :glasses2: :smokin:

with all those CF tail blades, maybe there is a reason why Hirobo put plastic on it ? They don't mention anything in the manual, but visiting the Henseleit page, I can find the following recommendation :

Bitte keine Carbon - Heckblätter verwenden, da sie zu steif sind und in Verbindung mit den NT - Aluheckblatthaltern zu feinen Vibrationen führen können, die unter Umständen zu Schwingungsbrüchen führen.

which means basically, that carbon tails are not recommended, because those may lead to small vibrations, which could lead to fracture by vibration of the aluminium tailholders ...

So I am wondering, if the same would appear for the Lepton too ? I think it would save Hirobo maybe 5 Dollar to deliver the EX with carbon tail blades, for an EX version not too much ...

I have been running the 68mm blades from Helidirect.com.
They work great so far!
I did have to turn my 401 gyro down 2 points as I was getting a slight wag in FF with these.

^^^^ Thanks Bob. The 68 mm CF from John are the best tail blades I have used in conjunction with the GY401 and 9254 the tail is rock solid. :smokin:
