I have a Knight 50, JR 10X, four 8311 (digital) servos, a Futaba 401 with its digital servo, and a Curtis Youngblood governor.
I am currently using the stock 1400 mah nicad pack that came with the radio and checking it with an ESV before and after each flight.
Some have suggested that I need a larger capacity battery, especially if I manage to get into 3D (I am rolling, looping, flipping, and doing a bit of inverted at the moment). I occasionally hear horror stories about an rx battery dropping in voltage momentarily, to the point where the gyro becomes confused.
Any advice? Nicad vs. Nimh? Capacity?
Thank you in advance!
