Rappy 30 headspeed? [Archive]

Hey Guys,

I was wondering what is the best head speed to run if I want to try doing some 3D manuevers? I'm running a OS 37, MP II, 3151's all around, maverick 1010 metal head and CY 30%. Thinking about putting a Multi Gov on? Would this help? And what kind of 3D manuevers is the 30 capable of doing? All info will be greatly appreciated! :D Thanks, Curt

For a 30 size you want to setup for 1900 rpm. For larger blade helis 1800 to 1850 for good response with the more radical maneuvers.

It will do anything your are capable of, on the 30 you just need a lighter touch on the collective and cyclic than a 50 or you will bog the motor.
