I have started putting my Lepton together and really did not like the look or quality of the landing gear. I got my hands on a new set of Logo 10 landing gear and they look much more sturdy and wider. I'll post pictures. Are any of you using other landing skids or what are your opinions on the stock skids?
I did buy the MJP tail lift kit but don't think i'll need it with the Logo 10 landing gear.
I'm really looking forward to getting my Lepton in the air.

Ok, so I put the Logo 10 landing gear on the Lepton and actually had a hard landing on them, hard enough to break them. The Feathering shaft and main shaft were untouched. So I put those "cheap" landing gear back on the Lepton since I didn't have another pair and guess what I found out. They are actually quite strong. So I'm taking it back (I was wrong). The landing gear aren't as cheap as I thought.

DUDE!! The stock gear works GREAT!!! I just put mine in for the first time and the gear is still intact. I went in hard and fast!!! I have also been practicing autos, and if you come in to fast, I did say I was practicing them right?, the stock gear absorbs the energy. I think they work fine. :glasses2:

My only gripe with the landing gear is that they're a little narrow. Other than that, they have put up with a lot of my abuse while practicing autos...even some rough landings with autos. They do absorb energy well.

I have the MJP lift kit on my bird and due to the rough ground where I fly I was tearing up my tail blades "edging" the landing pad. So I put some JR "CP" landing gear on my lepton. I think they are for the venture 50. They look fairly nice and seem plenty strong and as a plus I don't think I have to worry about my TR "edging" the landing pad anymore.

They Look like the Logo 10 landing gear except the skids themselves aren't so long.

I'm hoping these will last a while. A guy at the shop said he learned to fly with these gear and put it in many times hard and they lasted a whole year.

Found your pictures of the logo 10 gear and decided to take some more pictures so people can see the difference.

Some JR "CP" landing gear. I think I said above that I think they are for the JR venture 50. All I know is the little baggie the parts came in had a JR logo and said "CP".
Basicly I have a pretty good LHS so we sat there walking back and forth between the parts wall trying different parts to see how they would look until we found these.
