Hey guys,

Just went seperates Eflite 370 & esc, Phoenix 10 esc, feigao tail motor,
Gy240 gyro, JR9303 radio.
After i connected the power and waited for all the esc and gyro to arm/initialise, my tail motor will start spining even with zero throttle. only with full left rudder will the tail motor stops.. its almost like throttle down (but with rudder stick for the tail).. my end pts for rudder is -140% and the trim have to go full left for the motor to not spin at zero throttle..

Anybody have any suggestions on how to solve this problem?

You only show one phoenix 10, you have two right? Plus you disconnected the bec in the tail, right?

Plus you still have a mixeron-board in there?

If you connected the tail-esc directly through the gyro (maybe even heading-hold?) to the receiver, you will have a 50% power output straight-away, since the tail normally is centered...

There could be a possibility to eliminate the need for a mixeron-board with a computer-transmitter's mixing capabilities. I've gone theoretically through the programming once and have to admit it's quite an exercise of mind... ;)

If you have a heading-hold-gyro, it might even go to full deflection / full power since it wants to correct the yaw's position but not getting any motion on the heli since it's sitting on the ground, therefore deflecting more and more...

Please say what you've got additionally to what you already mentioned... :)

Cheers,

Daniel

Thanx.

Its great but I dont reccoment it. Lots of trouble setting up and expensive.
I still have some bugs to work on but it was a challenge to me so I went for it.

I'm glad you got it working. It IS a rather expensive setup...but...once setup, mine has run smoothly for over 90 hours now and its been through several violent wrecks with no degradation in performance. I simply don't think about the tail other than flying it since upgrading.
