Hi All:

I was wondering which is the best all round charger (Ballancer?) capable of handling all battery types.

NiCAD
NiMH
Lipos

I want to be able to charge up to 8 Lipos in Series (30v) and good quantities of the other types.

What brands or chargers should I be looking at. I would rather buy the best charger so I do not need to upgrade later.

Thanks

I have to say, I got a Hyperion EOS 5i a few weeks ago and it is a perfect all round charger. It charges/discharges/cycles NiCad, NiMh, Li-Po, and lead acid batteries. And it's very small, great for the field. I got mine for $54 on clearance.

I think it only does 5 LiPos? I need a minimum of 6 and preferably 8.

Get the Thunder Power 1010 and 210V combo, you will not be sorry.

I don't think it does NiCAD and NiMH, not at leas form whet I can see.

your best bet is the Schulze 330 or Orbit.

there are very few high capacity (ie. cell count) multi-chemistry chargers on the market.

Esp. if you want to charge 6-8 cell Lithiums.
