Does anyone know if E-Flite has fixed the issue with the 4-in-1 unit frying itself if the rotors become jammed and the throttle isn't immediately shut off as the CX does? Surely they've addressed this serious problem with a reset or fuse to prevent this costly and laborious repair if this happens.

I doubt it. The cx 4 in 1 is probably their biggest profit item. Dont kill the cash cow is probably their tactic. They can always say it burnt up because you crashed and not because of poor design. Will have to wait and see as they say it is improved, but doubt it is more rugged.
