Hi, I am new to heli's and the forum. I have recently bought a Raptor 50 V2 and am trying to work out the best Gyro to get. I have a JR 770R PCM receiver and was wondering if the Futaba GY401 Gyro w/S9254 Digital Servo would work with my JR receiver or are they incompatible?
If they are incompatible is the JR 501 gyro any good and which is the better between the Gy401 and the 501.
Thanks in advance.
Simon. :)

Yes, totally compatiable. I am using the gy401 with a r770 and also a r955. I can highly recommend the gyro combo.
You will have to take an exacto knife and trim off the little tab on the plug so it will plug into your JR r770, but this is not a big deal at all.

Thanks Charlie you have made my day. I have heard a lot of good stuff about the GY401 and was hoping it would work. Now I just need to figure out how to install it and set it up.

Programming it is not hard, but just takes some time and patience.... :hhelp
