Hey Guys,
I have few questions, I'm runnning Y.S 91SR with Hatori Pipe, all Stock Align servos everything regulated to 6V, Align Blades.

My head speed for 3D is around 2050, engine temp is at 186-197F is that ok ? It just seems like it bogs down a bit if lower headspeed.

I have the OS 91HZ and most of the guys I know, including myself, we run Normal around 1750, Idle Up 1 1850 and Idle Up 2 1950, I get around 180F. 2050 is a bit high for a 90, what kind of pitch are you running? I'm at 12 degrees and it flies just fine, anything more than that and good collective management comes into play big time;).

I know on my 700LE I'm at 12 degrees and any more and head parts start to bind as the manual says  I have my multigov set to 1800 and 1900 seems to work fine :clappp

Well I run just about 13 Degrees pitch I have 3D ring enabled on my 12X and the reason why I was asking you all about the head-speed, is because for some reason the heli seemed a bit sluggish while performing 3D maneuvers, perhaps I'm asking for too much out of 6V set up not sure though. Or maybe I just need to adjust my midrange needle.

Well thank you all for responding :)

A YS 91 sr head speed should be around 1850 Normal and 1950 idle up 1 , any more than that and your pushing your luck and you may burn up your engine prematurely.:dontknow

You need to run 12/12 pitch and run 1950 head speed. This has nothing to do with your servos at all or the voltage you are running.

It is just incorrect tuning and pitch management. That YS should be 200F temped at where the head meets the case after landing and stopping the blades. You are still rich.

12 degrees pitch? Ok... maybe not with OS 91 SZ and 20% nitro :(

Why not? What kind of pitch are you running face?
