I am a new guy and am looking for battery info...

The factory battery is a 11.1v, 800mAh...Is this the only battery I can use without changing any other electronic parts...Is the reason that the batteries are so expensive is supply-and-demand...

Where is a decent cost place to get batteries...

Thanks in advance...

You can pretty much go as large as a 1320Mah 11.1v Good for hovering and some foward flight. But as for price they vary on brand name and quality.
Check this place for prices I have used them for some time with no problems.

I personally dont use the original battery anymore I use thunder power (1320Mah 11.1v & 910Mah 11.1v) You will pay more but great quality and if you ever have a problem with the battery you can send it to them for service heck they will offer you a new one for 1/2 price and still fix your old one.

That is my opinion.
good luck.....

There is a thread in the main section about online hobby shops. They all carry various Lipos that can be used. I use:

www.readyheli.com

www.grandrc.com

www.techmodelproducts.com

Many people have had various problems with HeliHobby, others have been happy with them.

You just have to install a JST connector on them. But I switched my CP to Deans Micro connectors, as I already had several packs with these on them, and I find them easier to connect.

The Lost... Do you charge those packs with the 3cell charger included with a Blade cp pro? If not - does anyone know if I could?

You can only charge the stock packs with the stock charger, Can't charge Thunder Power LiPo on it.

I'm new to LiPo batteries but I don't see why you can't use the stock charger with the ThunderPower packs. Is the balance plug different? I got a couple of the commonsenserc packs and I had to reconfigure the balance jack to match the charger but they charge fine.

I'm also new to heli's - what a blast!

Great site too, tons of excellent info.
