View Full Version : Running RF without a controler?

is it possible to set it up so that realflight doesnt detect for a controller and just uses the keyboard? because ive had the demo and it uses the keyboard as a controller.

now i have it on two of my computers and cant run it on one without the controller..... any help? its like im at this brick wall i cant get passed: :arggg:

i want to use the online feature with the other computer on my LAN if you are wondering what i am trying to accomplish :mrgreen:

I think is like pretty much every other software, if you want to run it in two puters you need to buy two of them.
I guess the controller is the "key" to warranty that no illegal copies are running around (same with Reflex).
I would say that you need to carry your controller from one puter to the other one when you want to run RF.
But I'm not and expert in this subject (I should add either :mrgreen:)

Its called a Dongle, there's an eprom in the controller that the program looks for before it will start.

The software agreement you agreed to by breaking the seal says one copy on one computer at any given time.

oh ha, duh, just switch the controller over, thanks! that was easyer than i made it....

i got RFG3 so i could learn to fly before i fly, and i am planning to get a decent helicopter around christmas so maybe you'll see me around! :mrgreen:

If you download G3.5 it seems to be a bit twitchier, according to what people say ( I thought it was me that sucks) but it's a free upgrade and it has a couple of extra learning tools that I like them as they challenge you to stay focus on the execises instead of trying to imitate the ones that can fly.
It's a matter of discipline... :arggg:
