View Full Version : AP2000i Calibration programming JR 9x

Has anyone setup their JR 9x to activate the calibration mode on their AP2000i? I was asked how to do this but I don't use JR so I'm not familiar with the program mix on this radio.
He's using AUX3 on the l/h slider for stabilization gain. A mix was tried on mix was tried on this channel to no avail. I'm not certian of any more detail than that.

I'm setting up my 9303 today. What I am going to do is put the gain of the gyro on the AP aux channel and then use the gear channel mixed to Aux 3 for calibration. I too have gain on left slider on Aux 3.
haven't setup the mix yet but plan to soon.

I would like to try and use the slider on the left hand side of the transmitter to control the gain and calibration of the unit, all the way back towards yourself would mean it would be calibrating, and then slide it forward to increase the gain. I want to try and avoid using a switch if possible. I've played around with sub-trims, mixers, end point adjustments all to no avail, it still won't go into calibration mode. If anybody has any ideas I'd appreciate it.

do you have cal mode activated in the AP properly?

I can't get into the scal menu - that's my problem.

I would say you don't have the latest firmware loaded then.
If you don't see scal in the menu list, then you need to upgrade the firmware.
YOu can get the latest off the spartan site. Make sure you install the driver for the usb cable from the site also.

Sorry to go a little OT but has anyone programmed their JR 8103 (x3810) for use with the AP2000?
I'm struggling to program the calibration mix into mine. I've got the Gyro gain running off the AP2000 so that's not an issue. I just want to program the gear channel to mix with the AUX 2 pot :arggg: .
