Has anyone bought and used one of these gyros?

I have one that came with a package I bought and was wondering if they work as well as they say or is it a piece of junk?

They arent avcs as they advertise, the consensus has been that they are junk.

Only the fact that they are copied exactly to look like a Futaba GY401 and the name (It would be illegal here, but not in China) should give you a clue.
Just riding along on the succes of the 401 misleading buyers.........

Hey, I bought one on ebay, $40 for my blade 400. I thought it might be better than the finicky stocker and man it looks alot like the gy401. The instructions are even a pretty good copy but thats where the comparison ends, at least IMHO.

This thing is dangerous! One second your heli is tail-in and then snap it's nose-in... no, now it's to the right. Whooo. I put it back on the ground, lowered the gain to like 35%, reboot and tried it again, same thing. It matters not where the gain is or what mode your in, always very flaky and I rebooted it after every change and in both modes at power-up. I don't know if they are all this bad but I am sending this one back. I would not try one first time on a heli that I liked very much that is for sure. Be very careful! Anybody got one that works? If so, I might be willing to try again for a replacement instead of a refund.
