View Full Version : Loss of previous scenery after update 5.03 loaded

Hi all, I had udate 5.02 patch installed no probs. Then I updated to patch 5.03 - which gives an option to preview the scenery choices (great!), but I found that most of the old sceneries didn't show up on the choices list. They have not been deleted and you can still see the old scenery files by using Windows Explorer, BUT I can't select them from within XTR as a loadable choice - why? Am I doing somthing wrong? Any ideas?
Not waiting long enough I think - it takes a while for XTR to generate the previews, depending on your machine - this is a one time event
Open the select scenery dialog and walk off to have a coffee

Nah, still real problems with this 5.03 update - just can't get it to see the other sceneries, all the original German sites are not showing plus the ones I downloaded from their web site. Reloaded XTR now and I'll just make do with update 5.02.
