Hey guys/girls. My bro has a problem that is leading him away from flying his heli. Its a stock Blade CP. The problem is that the tail doesnt hold worth a you know. Also its takes almost full stick to even hover the silly thing. And as the battery gets low the tail gets almost unflyable. I was wonderin whats the cheapest or the best way to upgrade this heli to handle a gyro? Also would it be a good idea to convert to brushless and do the gyro at the same time? If so whats a good kit/parts to do this? I know how to fly. I have a T-rex 450 and a Raptor.30 and I have trouble with this CP. So if you guys can give me some ideas to step this thing up before he throws it away or lets it collect dust for its life I would like to fix it for him for christmas. So let me know. Thankx, Nick

Upgrade to the aerobatic kit, install the bell-hiller mixer upgrade, install 3 cell lipo and a twin tail motor. Flies like a champ, no problems going inverted, funnels are pretty decent, not true 3d but aerobatic. The gyro takes a bit of adjustment to get it holding good, when its not holding well its a pain to fly. Try those before you go and spend a couple hundred dollars on the brushless and HH gyro, if its still not flying well then by all means get them.

Using full stick for hovering usually means the flybar paddles aren't lined up like they are supposed to be, they easily move on hard landings and crashes. Could be other things too, but this is a common culprit.
