First Solo

Finally, did my first solo hover with the Bergen!

I was going to use training gear, but thought to myself, nah, just do what Paul told me, pucker up and go for it, so I did!

What a great machine it is. I still need to make some adjustments and get the motor broken in, but it is just an amazing piece of machinery. I am finally starting to feel like I am accomplishing something.

God, I love it, I definately have the FEVER!

I could not sleep at all last night. I kept going over in my head when/where I could get more practice.

Even while watching the Broncos destroy the Steelers, all I could think about was more flying time.

The SIM will never be the same now. :D

Wonderful! By the time next-year's fun fly rolls around you can show me your stuff. It has been confirmed; the 107th is making the heli fun fly an annual event at the end of September.

Not sure how much "stuff" I will be able to show, :wink: :D , but hopefully will be doing some decent forward flying by that time.

I am looking forward to going to more FF's next year!
