Geez, it's a pity it went off-camera right at the end, but it was a close thing, I can tell you.

http://helicopter.geek.nz/random/Heli/Logo%2010%20Carbon.mov

It's encoded with QuickTime 7, so you might need to make sure you have the latest version.

Funnilly, after spending so much on getting the setup red hot I think I need to tone it down a little. With the 20T pinion I'm getting 2350rpm, but only 7 to 8 minute flights out of the 6S 3700mAh packs. I think an 18T pinion will make it more managable and slow down the cyclic so that it doesn't try and roll into livestock before I can see what's happenning :)

Cheers.

Heh a 18 tooth will slow everything down no doubt, and yea you will extend out your times abit for sure. Hey it's all in one piece, that is what is important and that you identified something.

Thanks guys. It certainly gave me a fright. Looking at the video I think it was an orientation problem (rolled the wrong way) combined with the quickness of the cyclic, which I wasn't really into.

I should also note that there was some bad language on the video - if you're easily offended then mute the audio.

Also, as you can see by the climb-out I did about half-way through the video the tail is struggling to hold with the amount of torque available. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on getting it more locked in? Currently using a GY401 with 9254 servo, thrust bearing upgraded tail and MS-Composit 75mm blades.

Personally I like a little bad language, lol,,, guess I am unusual but hey if you need to let it out than do so I say :)

wow! that thing's fast!
Look at the Logictech gyro if you can afford it.
You could also try to get more mechanical advantage, move out one hole on the servo, and leave the limit set to bind. The gyro will never get to full travel on the slider that I've seen.
