HiMax 2025 4200 Info Needed

Hi gang,

Do I need any kind of special mounting plate for the HiMax 2025 4200 motor, replacing the stock brushed motor?

Also, what tooth pinion are you using with the HiMax 2025 4200 motor?

You might need to open up the screw holes a tiny bit, but other than that it goes in fine. Make sure to use the screws that came with the stock motor, the ones that come with the Himaxx are too long.

I'm using a 9 tooth pinion on my motor.. 9 and 8 seem to be the most common. I have considered going to 8 to see how it behaves, but that will have to wait for a rebuild :D
