I am putting together my first heli. I'm using a Futaba 146ip receiver. My question is, what channels do I plug the servos, gyro, and ESC into on the receiver? It seems like I remember 1 for aerlions, 2 for elevator, 3 being for the ESC, but I can't remember the rest and I'm not sure about what I do know.

Mark.

Just a minor note of clarification (although you probably already know this)...

Chnl 4 goes to the gyro yaw input, and the gyro output goes to your tail servo (that's the "rudder" control David indicates). David shows chnl 5 going to the gyro as well. That's the chnl that will control the gyro gain and mode (in the case of a gyro like the 401).

Of course if you're running an eCCPM swash setup ail, elev, and collective are all mixed together electronically - so they won't be one-to-one with aileron servo etc.

just so we're clear, channel 5 gets the single yellow wire from the 401 gyro.
