Hi can someone help me .I am trying to setup my gyro on my 450xl I put a hitec 50 servo on my tail when I set the gyro to hh it move's in one direction and after only a little time it burn't it out . Do I need a digital servo ? can I put a Hitec 65 mg one on ? :( When its not in HH it stays in the center

You don't necessarily need a digital servo on the tail. But you shouldn't set the gyro for digital if you use an analog servo. In HH mode it's important that you keep the heli perfectly stationary while the gyro initializes - and even then don't expect it to act like a "regular" gyro (it will not naturally center well with the heli sitting still).

Somthing to check also is the travel limit on the tail servo in both directions
as if it binds in one or either direction it will also cause your servo to fail.

See the attached pic. The switch in the upper-left corner is the "digital servo" switch. It should be off if you are using a regular servo.

I'm sorry - I was in brain-dead mode. I don't really know anything about that model
