When flying my Trex 700 some times the Links on the FlyBar Cage come off... the helicopter still flies the same because they are still on the FB Cage Rods. The reason why the links come off is due to them hitting the head block whilst moving through their control range... this doesnt happen every flight... only when trying piroflips and other piroing maneuvers- using Elevator/Aileron-Pitch/Roll at the same time. So im just wondering on how to fix this problem with in the Links etc? or do I have to dial down my Cyclic?
If you could check it on your 700 and let me know what you have done that would be great as I have seen it happen on other peoples 700s too. How much Cyclic pitch are you running on your trex 700? elevator/flip pitch? aileron/roll pitch? FlyBarred Head

Thanks

Adam

Do you know how much Elevator/Aileron pitch you have now? When you put an elevator or aileron input how much does your swash tilt? Does the top of the swash go over the top of the swash bearing in the middle? It should just come to the top of it no more than that.

I am at 10 degrees of pitch on eleavator and aileron and never had this problem like you discribe. I also have the Quick UK links and flybar and they snap better.

or you can do all of them with this kit:

Tooo much Elevator + Aileron, this is a mechanical limit, check your set-up, put the cyclic in the bottom right corner of the Tx at full -/+ (zero) then spin the blades at each and look for any binding, you may see a bump in the swash everytime it binds, go to your swash values and lower your % in Ele/Aile until this binding stops, a cyclic ring helps stay out of the corners, or go FBL 14 deg = all the pitch you need and no binding.

Flybar is usually about 8-9 deg pitch with-out binding

I have 8 Degrees of cyclic. Any more than that and the FlyBar Cage rod binds on the head block.

Now i changed the links on time the one link came off and i put it back and then it didnt come off again...
I dont have any binding..!
