This setup is plumbed basically just like a YS, right? i.e., the backplate is drilled out for pressure through a check valve, right?
I'm asking because I'm setting up a new fuel tank (stratus) and want to put the pressure line on the bottom of the tank through one of the base plate cut outs.

Thanks.
Does anyone see a problem running the pressure line from the backplate to the new Stratus tank from below opposed to wrapping it up and round.
This pushes air up through the fuel (if upright, which isn't often - heh) but simplifies the plumbing and makes it easier to deal with. This is very similar to how my Evo90/YS was since the Evo tank has a nipple on the bottom.
Any nay-sayers?

I say if it works and is simple then go for it...

Well unless your going to turn the model upside down to fuel it. I see no reason it won't work. You have to open the pressure line to fuel the model. So if you do that, fuel is going to run out when fueling. IF you fuel thru the pressure line, then fuel is going to go into the clunk line and then into the regulator and the carb and flood the engine and run out.
Got to vent the tank to fuel. So your going to need a third opening.
