Hi guys,
I have an AP200i which I will be mounting on a TrexSE. Since it is a small platform with multiple electronics, I am hoping not to experience a high level of interference.
Due to a front mount camera gimbal system, I have to mount the AP2000i on left rear external frame. The ESC will be installed on the right rear external side, and the receiver will sit in the middle rear interior frame.
Although I will play around and test this, does anyone think I will experience interference by installing the three items in such close proximity?
Thanks - Lachlan

I'm aware of many users attempting to cause interference to their AP2000i by placing them in the situations you've described. To date, I'm not aware that anyone has experienced interference to the AP2000i in those situations.
Angelos would have to explain how Spartan has managed this but I can say that I've got mine installed on my gasser right by the rx and regulator. It's also not that far from the ignition coil. No problems for me.
Like any part on your heli; do a good preflight to ensure that the stabilization is performing as you expect.

Mark,
Once again your professional input is well appreciated. Good to hear you and others have not experienced any issues to date.
Roger that on the preflight. Will also fine tooth-comb the AP2000i threads as I'm installing.

I have heard of no issues either, and I have been using an ap2000i for quite some time now.
I know many that sit the ap2000i on top of their Rx, or their Rx on top of the ap2000i with no issues.

Scott,
Your call-sign is definately familiar to me. In light of the comments from you and Mark I think it is safe to say, "question answered"!
Thanks guys,
Lachlan

I have three ap-2000is and I ususally mount them right on top of the receiver. Not had a single problem.

Hi Gary,
Thanks for that. I also shot you back a note regarding the Logo at the other venue.

Yep, I just figured out you are the same guy. :) I sent you an email a little while ago with some Logo 10 options.
