I've been flying my Revo with the stock canopy w/black windscreen and the rest of it white and it's a real PIA to see sometimes. I think I'm going to da quick easy paint job on a spare canopy with Fluorescent Orange and leave the W/S black. Question is, thought about painting the top of the horizontal stab black and the bottom Fluorescent orange so that when it's vertical, the top of the stab and canopy will be showing black with the rotor side out and Fluorescent orange with the LG facing in my direction.

This sound OK or am I just being anal about this.

Flourescent orange is awesome to see. I went overboard with it...

An "Equator" line on the canopy, meaning upper half one color and lower another, really helps. You'd think it would be mainly up/invert help, but it also really helps just when in a banked turn... you can really see the bank angle.

Top/bottom of the stab/fin hasn't seemed to make much difference to me. A bright (fl orange) tailfin (both sides) really helps also.

Adding color can definitely improve the visibility, adding colors top and bottom as previously stated can add orientation clues as well.
